Lucia Bonetto joined McNair as an Associate in 2025. She was admitted as a lawyer in Italy in 2020 and as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2026. Lucia speaks fluent Italian, English, and French and has conversational level of Spanish and German.

Lucia has extensive experience in Public International Law and International Arbitration. She has previously worked in top-tier law firms in London and Milan, and in International Courts and Tribunals in Paris, Washington DC and Hamburg. She has been involved in complex disputes before the ICJ, PCA and ITLOS, as well as in arbitration proceedings under the UNCITRAL, ICSID, OIC, ICC and LCIA Arbitration Rules.

Lucia is also a PhD candidate and Teaching Fellow at Queen Mary University of London. She holds an LL.M. from Sciences Po Paris in International Dispute Resolution (summa cum laude), and a Bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Bologna (summa cum laude).
